Jose Oyola & the Astronauts is an experimental indie rock project based out of New Haven, CT. By incorporating elements such as traditional Spanish percussion, lush harmonies, horns and Spanish lyricism with catchy, guitar driven indie pop melodies, the group has carved a niche for themselves in the community. Their presence in a live setting is nothing short of attention grabbing. Jose Oyola & the Astronauts most recent album, "Hologram,"  was released last fall. The Astronauts have speny the last several months touring and promoting their album. As of recent news, they are working on new music and are continuing to develop and hone their sound.
